Clouds

Does anyone else think that the weather we've had this year has given us some stunning cloud formations?

I've been watching a cloud wolf with a wide open mouth waiting for the piggy shaped cloud to float into it......for dinner.... :-(
Yes I have an over active imagination......but it passed the time sitting on the patio trying to remove the black paint from my arm...
Next time I spray the inside of a huge bucket black I'll wear gloves.....x

We were at a country park today and I climbed to the top of the hill and took it in whilst sitting on the bench, it was fantastic beautiful fluffy clouds against a lovely blue sky

This year seems to have been quite spectacular.......some dramatic and some, as you say, very fluffy......simple things, eh.... :-)

As kids we used to look at the shapes of flames in an open fire, you don't get that with central heating.

We did that, Baza.....a peat fire in Ireland gave us hours of fun and laughter.....x

I love clouds - and you're right, Gx, this has been an excellent few months for cloud spotters.

Call me an old cynic, "You're an old cynic, dave", but one or two in the video do look a bit 'altered' - which doesn't detract from the beauty, but isn't really necessary.

Have a friend who lives on the coast in Fife and she posts photographs of cloud formations nearly every day. Some absolutely stunning photos. Love "The Dinosaur".

Couldn't agree more. We've big skyscapes here and we comment on them a lot; been wonderful this year - today was spectacular, looming cumulus over the low hills, topped by blue, topped by cirrus and leading into a gradually fading blue. Completely fabulous!
