My Toshiba laptop has taken to instantly switching off (no shut down process). This is happening when it is connected to the mains power suppy so i do not think it is the battery. Could this be to do with the hot weather?

Hi

Mine does this often (and oh how amusing it is too!) It's because it's over heating, the fans underneath and my ample knee is usually blocking the ducts- lovely mental image there eh?

If at all possible, try to let air circulate under ya lappy. Good luck :-)
