Reasons To Be Cheerful

1. It's Friday - who doesn't love Friday !

2. I've just had a big bowl of thick, homemade, warming soup.

3. One more week and I will hopefully break up for annual leave.

4. My husband is taking me away next Sunday for a night in a hotel, nice meal, shopping, etc.

5. A very nasty person at work is about to get her comeuppance.

I have another couple of weeks off work
I have lost even more weight
My dogs are having the time of their lives
I have an incredible husband I have been lucky to find 27 years ago
I am knitting dog jumpers for a Serbian dog rescue

1. I have done my accounts and am solvent

2. Seeing one of my favourite theatre groups tonight

3. Off to Liverpool for a couple of days soon - never been and really looking forward to it

4. Got the accommodation booked for Autumn trip to Tayside

5. Now weigh 1kg less than this time last week - all I need is to repeat this every week until Christmas ...

Hello again!

We've just had an email from Icelandair offering us 1,200 euros in compensation for our total flight fiasco back in June.

As a result, the gobby one is taking me out for dinner tonight :-)

I feel a whole lot better than I did this time last week.
Our pup seems to have got the hang of being a bit more sociable and a bit less hyper.
We've decided to tart up the kitchen and made a start on getting things organised.
I've finally seen a lovely photo of a gorgeous lady who's made such progress with her weight loss..go Islay! :)

recovering from my food poisoning
blood out of me - my cholesterol at a low and my liver dried out because of the diet above - weight down by 9 pounds

I am sitting on the terrace in the sun.

The cava is free.

I survived cocktails and shots at the monkey beachbar.

I have seen a sunset above the clouds and seen the most amazing stars halfway up a volcano.

I am not sun burnt.

I still have to put up with this for more than a week ;)
