it doesnt
It doesn't say "Kill the infidel". It says that in certain circumstances, Jihad (Holy War) against attackers of the Moslem people is justified for those who wish to do so.
someone told me that the koran says if u cant convert someone to be a Moslem by gentle perswasion then use as much force nesessery . is this true ?
Dunno gnasher, but I'm 'Church of England' proud of it & no one on this Earth would ever influence me to change! I wonder why there hasn't been much response to this question? Is it that 'Big Brother' is watching you?
Gnasher, it's not true. It says in the Quran that there is no compulsion in religion. Nowhere in the Quran does it say to kill all the infidels either. Islam allows killing someone only in times of war, as self defence and as death penalty for criminals who have committed a heinous crime. There are vast amount of material in the internet about Islam, including many online translations of the Quran. Just make sure you get your information from an islamic site and not from an islamophobic site. The latter ones usually have Quran quotes either taken out of context or deliberatelly fabricated. Here is one islamic site: http://www.islamonline.net/english/index.shtml
Hope
this helps.
As a devoted muslim I can tell you as a fact there isnt a single passage that says kill the infidels, this passage is made my the peolpe who are islamaphobic, the media (The Rupert Murdoch Corporation to be precise) is responsible for fueling for such cr*p, also on a different issue suicide bombings/attacks are strictly forbidden, one last note I would like to point out the arabic Language is very diverse, and many words are misinterpretated by amatuers who cant read the Language
