Not normally stumped by this but this week..... I presume the southern most village is Lizard, the garden in question MIGHT be Bonython Manor, but I CANNOT find a second lighthouse that fits the clues. Am I on the wrong track??

^^^ I'm not actually seeking to enter the competition. I simply followed Gyroman's starting point, which clearly misled me. Now if I'd simply entered this line into Google (which is probably what I'd done if I'd not had the Cornish bum steer to start off with), I might have got there a lot faster! For anyone who wants to read the clues:

Like you, Gyroman, I can't find any lighthouse that fits the description listed on any of the main websites about lighthouses in Cornwall.
However the 'small town' could well be Perranuthnoe. Going 2 miles NW from there takes you to Marazion, where you'll find this:

A possibility, perhaps?
