Tenant Farmers Rent

In the Middle Ages (and earlier) tenant farmers paid rent and admission `fines` to the Lord of the Manor. Does anyone know when this ceased? Thanks.

Tenant farmers still pay rent to the landowner who owns their farm. Checkout The Archers, Grundy's storyline. More seriously,we knew some when I was young, granted a long time ago, but not the Middle Ages. I don't know about 'Admission Fees' though.
