Now its all out in the open at last. According to Shapps, an ex-Chair of the Party, she has to go. Surely May's time must now be limited....weeks or days perhaps.

For example, free access to the UK by all EU citizens will remain , the only difference is that they will have to register with the local authority if they want to stay or apply for work.
Also we have no alternative but to accept the authority of the ECJ on any matter that involves the EU . The only difference is that it will have no say on UK internal matters or our dealing outside the EU.

We're going to get precisely nowhere in the negotiations, and eventually we'll storm off in a huff and adopt WTO rules having said we've tried everything to avoid it, but no deal is better than a bad deal and it's important that we're strong and stable and take back control.
And that's when May will be deposed, with a year to go to the election.
In the meantime Labour are absolutely fine as they're not in power, so they can say what they like, or nothing if that's easier, with no comebacks, because the whole thing will be done and dusted before they get a sniff. And, whoever is leader of the Tories and of Labour by the time of the next election, I would say Labour have the best chance of winning it after the almighty foo that's taking place at the moment and will continue to that point.

'Tories round on Shapps
It's safe to say that Grant Shapps’ plot isn't going to plan, and he has been turned on by many of his parliamentary colleagues: Baroness Warsi told the World at One that ‘my message to Grant Shapps is: shut up’, Charles Walker says ‘No. 10 must be delighted it's Grant Shapps leading this alleged coup’, Nadine Dorries says if Shapps thinks he has 30 supporters then ‘Diane Abbott must be doing the adding up’ and he has been added to a Tory MPs’ WhatsApp group ‘so he can read all the abuse we're giving him’, one MP says.'

Shapps has no authority in the party and is definitely yesterdays man. Even the hapless Cameron realised he was dodgy and sacked him.
I suspect May will be around for sometime, stumbling from one crisis to another. Expect a reshuffle soon that will settle a few scores, and then the Autumn Budget that will be mostly bad news. I agree with ellipsis, she will be got rid off before the next election, but will be still around for sometime. And not for the first time, the Conservative Party will tear itself apart over Europe in the intervening years.
