Cursor Sticking

I'm on a Chromebook and the cursor keeps sticking. Often it won't move at all - sometimes pressing ESC moves it, but sometimes it disappears altogether and I have to wait ages for it to reappear. Any ideas why this is happening and how I can remedy this, please?

I had that problem last night - but went onto other sites and it seemed to be working. Somebody will be on soon and give you better advice than me. But, sometimes it works if you switch off and on.

Thanks jj! I've tried switching it off and on so many times now I can't remember! It works for a little while, then starts sticking again. Can't win!
