I have posted this in CB, as I was unsure where else to post it.

This is ruddy awful....what if a baby had still been in the buggy ?

The footage isn't very clear, but the (woman) in pink seems to be just standing there, not doing anything.

Probably in shock and also she knows the baby is safe.
She's holding the baby.

Doing anything would have been foolhardy.
Unless from the planet Krypton, advice is very much 'don't try to interfere with moving trains if there's no risk to life'.

//what if a baby had still been in the buggy ? //

But he/she wasn't, and a buggy is easily replaced.
Brakes on the buggy always, baby aboard or not.
looks like the platform dips towards the track shes prob not first to have anything runaway on that one,
A lot of platforms slope towards the track, for rain run off. However on this occasion it was combined with the suction effect from the train to suck the buggy towards it. It took some time for the lady to even notice.
Linked after this clip was one in Melbourne OZ where the buggy with baby runs away and onto the track, grandpa not paying attention.
