Faulty Watch Bought From Amazon.
I bought a Lorus watch via Amazon which started to lose time after about 3 weeks.
By the time I contacted Amazon their 30 day warranty had passed and they referred me to the seller who claims that as the watch is outside the 30 days, the warranty passes to the manufacturer and if I take it to a Lorus dealer they will be able to assist me with a repair or replacement.
Is this correct ? Advice please.
Cheers.

Thank you all for your great answers and advice.
The seller ( not Amazon) is still being difficult, but I've been in touch with Seiko/Lorus head office in Maidenhead and they have been very sympathetic, and have agreed to replace the watch.
You could say the vendor has got away with it, but in the end I have a result and will post an appropriate review on the seller's Amazon site !
Cheers.
