A while ago my dad was asked by his GP if he was depressed. My dad replied " I am a bit pis.sed off actually." The doc said "Oh dear, I'm sorry but I have to ask that question to everyone." And then did nothing.
I don't take notice of these NHS plans. A while ago we were told that anyone who drank a lot more than the recommended daily or weekly limit would be called in for a checkup by their GP. Has that happened? No. This is just another bright idea that won't happen.

You do not imagine for one moment that any GP in England and Wales has the brains to remember to ask?
But what if:
they enter the answer in the wrong box and you are sent later for chemical castration - because hospitals never make mistakes;
what when GP surgeries are hacked by Russia and China - which they will be - and the dark web geeks blackmail you and cause you real pain and financial hardship;
what if the media get the data and reveal al the LGBT actors and pop stars! the tears the tantrums the cries of 'Oh no!';
what if you have a Shipman type doctor, and he decides your sexuality needs a nice jab of deadly poison.
You are at risk.
