How Do I Get Rid Of The Smell Of Onions From A Plastic Bowl?
15 Answers
I had to leave some onions in brine for 2 days before pickling them.
The bowl I used was plastic and now stinks of onion.....which is a shame as I often use that bowl for mixing cake baking ingredients.
I've washed it several times now, rubbed it with bicarb and left it overnight and it is currently full of bicarb and water having a good soak.
It still whiffs of onion.
Any other ideas, or do I have to only use that bowl for stuff that contains onions now?
I know.....should have used a glass bowl...but the plastic one is big, roomy and not so heavy to carry.
Thanks, folks.
