I have a photo on my computer which was copied from a slide onto a CD. The slide must have been inverted, so the photo is the wrong way round...can the computer fix this?

Any image editor can do the task. While I could recommend some excellent (free) specialist programs, the stuff that comes with Windows can do the job anyway.
Right-click on the image file.
Select 'Open with'.
Choose 'Paint'
Click on 'Rotate'
Select 'Flip Horizontal'
Go the the File menu (top left)
Select 'Save As'
Select 'JPEG Picture'
Choose a file name (and location) for your modified picture.
Click 'Save'.
(The instructions above are based upon thre version of Paint which comes with Windows 7. There might be minor differences with other versions of Paint).
