Canker Sores

Help .... I was on holiday recently and drank something which I thought was cool and it burned the roof of my mouth resulting in a really bad blister. I thought when it healed that would be the end of it ... but now four weeks later another one has just appeared on the other side of my mouth with a bright red dot in the middle which is bleeding and having done some research it looks like its what is known as a canker sore ..... Does this mean I am now going to be plagued with them .. has anyone got any info ... bit worried about this ...
