Apparently not, Jourdain. It was when someone here mentioned the word ‘cisgender’, which since I’d never heard of it, I looked up to find it means ‘normal’, viz ‘denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender corresponds with their birth sex.’ That was when I decided to jump on the bandwagon, go with the flow, and ‘self-identify’ – it’s all the rage, don’t you know?
