There's a young lad that has started in our local paper shop who has B.O. very badly, It makes me sick each time (4) I go for the paper, this lad has only just started, how would you address this?

Sorry for my delay in answering, Islay to your answer, Yes it makes me feel sick, please don't take this the wrong you all but the lad is very large, hair stuck in a bun not that's makes any difference, he works on the counter & pleasant to customers but the stench, I know the other members off staff that have been there a while, I might just drop a hint.
