How stupid was Andy? Firstly he and Vinny could have easily taken on Phelan together and secondly why did he give him back the gun?

Sorry,but I think Phelan is the best character for many a year,acting is superb.

Yes. He’s an excellent actor and won Villain of the Year at last year’s soap awards, I think.

I watched last night's two episodes plus the two Vintage ones in bed and the old ones were much better to watch. OK, nothing much happened but they were believable and easy to watch!!!!! I really wanted Andy to escape too and am sick to death of the whole programme now!!

I enjoy Phelan’s character. I just wish the story writers had given him a more believable plot as the Andy imprisonment was just rubbish.

I haven't watched it for months now. The storylines drag on far too long and things happen that would never happen in real life.

People have been complaining about Phelan for months, even Fern Britton has had a say, but it won't make any difference unless they get rid of the present producer. The programme last night should not have been shown before the watershed, and this sort of content shouldn't be in Corrie anyway. I believe the TV awards are due and I know I for one, will not be voting for Corrie. Perhaps by not getting any awards, they might realise that these storylines are just not suitable for the majority of Corrie viewers.
