me too. When I was younger I spent a lot of time at sea with my dh.....they flogged (changed) the clocks to keep in step with where in the world we were so UK to Dubai, 3 hours over 6 weeks and then 3 hours on the way back It was done in 30 minute chunks.
My husband used to take it upon himself to alter all the clocks (this before the electronic age) in the evening before the time change. I used to change them all back, it didn't half confuse him in the morning!

I like this particular change. Dark at 4.30 is little odds from dark at 5.30 and it's done in many countries. I remember when it was stopped and it was awful, especially for those in the North.
