Another vote for the TV remote control.
(I contemplated voting for the tablet, but it's pleasure giving is cancelled out by it's ability to frustrate & annoy.)

Ahhh I love the remote control too, how did we manage before getting up and over to change channels - best about living in Ireland, we only had 2 to change over at the time, but turning the volume up and down was a pain-yes, remote control is a good one
