Not sure where to put this but here goes, on the show the other day they said that the entire body, more or less is replaced at different speeds, the skeleton taking the longest at 10 years. So how do tattoos not simply fade away?

The body cells are replaced by REGENERATION.
Tattoos remain by INFLAMMATION.

The body regards the ink as a foreign body, the inflammatory process is involved and hence the tattoos remain engulfed in inflammatory cells....forever.
