I suppose I should have offered my fantasy food day, well here goes. Breakfast would have to be at The Waves, Victoria Bay, South Africa, where there is always a message of the day written in the butter and the sea and surfers pass close by the verandah. Lunch would be a roast beef sandwich at The Stage Deli in San Fransisco, mmm to die for. Dinner is crisp roast duck and cranberries, followed by hazelnut meringue at The Polska Restaurant, Warsaw. Interestingly, I have not chosen to travel back in time although I deeply regret not finding out what my mothers secret was for making perfect scones.
