Live Streaming.
I was watching the live streaming around 2 this morning. There was no sound for nearly half an hour, I lay in bed thinking, WHY? theres enough of them there to at least let us listen to something!!! I switched the t.v off in the end.

So they can only broadcast stuff that does not involve "hearsay" about people in the outside world.
Regarding music, I think it is to do with licensing. if they play music then they have to pay the writer/performer of that song via the PRS. If you ever watch those crappy progs on E! channel on Britney etc, you will notice they contain NO music! No examples of them singing!!!! 'Cos that makes it a very cheap programme to make!!

It gets ridiculous that you can't hear huge conversations because of the sound going. I know that if their talking about friends or family in case of an invasion of privacy, etc but they can't always be talking about political or private stuff 24 hrs. I can understand the music as on the channel 4 show "THE SALON" that was on a few years ago they had blocked out people singing it was obvious and I couldn't work it out. On the next days show they played the clip I had seen and they were singing Happy Birthday. With songs they can't do them live as they need to get copyright permission to use a song - but it's a right pain in the #####
