Weighing Scales
Is it just me, or is anybody else put out by the lack of weighing scales in the fruit and vegetable areas of some supermarkets.
Sure, stuff is weighed at the checkout, but just for customers to be able to weigh goods themselves, to know weight, and to make price comparisons based on weight.
Would it be so difficult to keep a scales in operation for the customer also.
Today, I asked my supermarket about it, but alas, the manager said he didn't know why there was none for the customer.

So the only way to compare value, between these, and items sold loosely, is by weight. Major example is trays of tomatoes, often no weight, just number of tomatoes. Well done to those supermarkets that have them for customers, to those that don't....... Bring on the Scales
