Wednesday. Very misty with a gentle breeze, so it feels colder that it is. Only got the running around to do today, a couple of phone calls. then a few odds and ends indoors, which won't take long, so the plan is to be a lazy git. :o} I'll go and see my ex RAF mate I think, haven't seen him for some time.

Have a happy day everyone.

I'm going to make a move now. Got some running around before I do my running around, if you get my drift.

Have a happy day everyone. xxxxx

bye Boaty xx
take care Boaty xx

cor, workmen have turned up next door for another day of hammering and drilling and door slamming.
If I hear one sweary word, I won't be impressed.
Morning All !

Another really foggy start to the day here, and I have a 60 mile M4 journey to make soon. I can hardly see 100 meters down the road !

And I bet there will still be people driving without lights !
morning Mikey xx bit dull here too ...
Morning Mikey xx

Take care on your journey.
There will always be nutters out there who are of the opinion that because they can see , means they don't need to use their lights :-(
Alba....I will take extra care this morning....the problem is further exacerbated by the fact that those drivers without lights, will also be of the opinion that they can still drive far too fast, and far too close to the car in front.
I daren't say what I want to do to drivers like that !

My dad used to say better to arrive 30 minutes late than 30 years too early.
good morning, waiting none too patiently for the gas cooker engineer to show up, why does it always seem like an age..
Morning Emmie xx

Hope he/she arrives soon and can get it fixed.

Waiting for anything is always the hardest.
alba

so it is, the worse part is not knowing whether it can be fixed, like me it's getting on a bit.
'getting on a bit' - oh, heavens, it's not nice is it?!

Went into a strop a few months back with Mr Alba, 'fgs, I'm xx years old and know how to - whatever it was'

flounced out the room, came back a few minutes later laughing me head off. I'd forgotten I'd had a birthday - definitely a sign of age lol
worse was i have been charged double for my elec/gas this month, i queried it and spoke to a very nice and helpful woman who said she will get it sorted for next month. as a singleton i don't use much elec/gas luckily -
Emmie, that's not good.
Do hope that gets sorted out, keep a close eye on it.
(I'm sure you will, sorry)

4 of us here, plus a cat, and a certain son likes to put lights on all over the place whether needed or not!
