Firefox Malfunction.

Last week I decided to carry out a Malwarebytes scan having not done so for quite a while.
In the process of updating, it loaded a free trial of their paid programme.

After carrying out the scan I found that I could not load Firefox an error message just kept coming up.

Luckily I still had internet explorer, so I was able to defeat firefox and then reload it, but the error message still came up.

Taking into consideration all that I had done, I decided to reload Malwarebytes and discontinue their free trial, this did the trick because I was then able to open Firefox.

I have no explanation for this except to ask someone who could perhaps enlighten me more. I would also like to know what does one do if one's web browser malfunctions and they do not have a backup one, so as to get on the internet?

Thank you fender most interesting.

Any ideas on how to load a web browser if one doesn't have another one installed?
You can have as many browsers as you like. Install at least another one and then you will always have a back up of at least two.

Take your pick from the following :-

and just keep them as downloads to user over and over again if you uninstall browser for what ever reason.
