Will I seem like a saddo going to a spa by myself?

I've never been to one before, and really fancy it, but don't really have any friends that would want to come with me.
Do people normally go in pairs/groups? Or do people go on their own? Has anyone been on their own? I'd love to hear your experieces if you have.
Thanks

They regard it as their "quiet time for themselves" and once you're there I'm sure you will find other people who are treating their stay in exactly the same way. Take good book with you so that if you do feel lonely you can bury you head it in and just relax.
Hi starlorna
Although all the times I've been to spas it has been with my husband, we have always met amongst others, single people. You'll find that even people in groups or couples will still chat to you regardless of being on your own. Maybe because of the relaxed atmosphere, most patrons are happy to talk to other visitors.
Go for it - you'll be glad you did! xXx ☺
