Winter Fuel Payment

I am still waiting for my £200 Winter Fuel Payment, which is due this month apparently. Its my first payment.

Has anybody else had theirs yet?

I believe that those who meet the following criteria may also be eligible for the warmer home discount:

In receipt of one of the following means tested eligible benefits:
Income Support.
Income based Jobseekers’ Allowance.
Income related Employment and Support Allowance (which includes a work related activity or support component).
Universal Credit (low income elements).

And includes one of the following:

Child element for children aged 5 or under.
Disabled child element.
Be a customer with a gross annual household income (HHI) of less than £16,190 and the account holder is living with mental or physical disability or illness, or there is vulnerability within the home (children living in the house aged 5 or under) or of pensionable age.

Be a customer with a gross annual household income (HHI) of less than £16,190 and spend 10% or more of household income on energy bills to heat the property.

I spent mine this afternoon. :(( Haven't even had it yet, Christmas and a Birthday (that cannot be ignored) to get sorted.

I got mine last year at the very end of November. It isnt paid out alphabetically.

I was told if you have a blue disabled badge you qualify for the warm home discount.
Scottish Power is currently sorting this for me.

Can honestly say I can’t recall getting the £10 Xmas bonus I’m retired and get a state pension.

malagabob you probably have had it but haven't noticed. They stick an extra £10 onto your SP payment just before Christmas. No notification, it just appears. I've checked my bank account for last year and mine came on 5th December. I didn't even notice at the extra £10 at the time.
