Antivirus / Firewall

Following on from my question below

I might have to uninstall COMODO as I just cant get it to update .
Do I need a special tool to uninstall it - or simply going through controll panel , add/remove programs sufficient ?

I was thinking of going back to AVG and Zone Alarm - can anyone provide a link to down load it ?

What other free anti virus / Firewall would you recomend and can you provide a link ?

Go to Control Panel and Uninstall a Programme as that is where my Comodo was for uninstalling. Computer will need restarting to complete uninstall.
I have replaced Comodo with Microsoft Security Essentials which is very good .
Google it and you will be directed to site for Download.

Also go to Start >Search>Files & folders>clk all files &folders >Type in all or part of the file name COMODO clk more advanced options Tick top 3 boxes Clk search this will show up all the files left behind, delete each one.
This should be done with all programs you remove.
