Can My Step-Dad Adopt Me As An Adult?
20 Answers
I am 27, so definitely legally an adult.
Is it possible for my step-dad to legally adopt me? He’s been my dad for most pf my life, but I would love to make it official for him for a christmas present.
Can I do this?

Thank you, everyone!
I’m afraid I’m married, so changing my name to match his isn’t an option now. Not without confusing our bump’s future school, etc, anyway.
It would have been nice (especially with the impending baby) for him to formally adopt me, but at the end of the day, I suppose it’s only a piece of paper!
