I returned from the chemist with my prescription about six minutes later to see I have got a £60 parking fine. I wrote and appealed against fine as I had Diabetes 2, Transverse Myialites Kidneys working at 50% and lungs only working at 66%.I told them that I could back this up with a doctors certificate and the reply was pay up now or it will go up to £80. Is this right

OH probably had a more severe disability than certain others one sees with Blue Badges and so we felt discriminated against in not being allowed to park in a 'disabled space'. It was academic anyway because (a) I was happy to push OH in her wheelchair and (be) I didn't fancy our car being 'keyed' because we didn't have a 'Blue Badge'.
We were immune from this stuff until relatively recently. Seems our politicians were convinced and persuaded to act in the best interest of all.
For the record, our politicians (Holyrood) are utterly woeful.
