Memory At 50 +
46 Answers
I'm 51 now, but for the past year or so ive noticed a decline in my memory. To be more specific, a decline in recalling peoples names. I'm talking about people that ive known for years. Or the names of famous people that ive known of since childhood.
Talking to my mate a few days ago and was going to ask him about how his sister was doing and her name totally eluded me, it was quiet embarrassing for me, ive known her for years. Today I was viewing a few you tube vids and was going to type in the name of a band that Ive liked since the 90's. Just could not remember the band (or the title of the song that I wanted). Came eventually...when I wasn't even thinking about it anymore...but quiet frustrating at times.
^ Just a couple of examples but I'm finding it quiet frustrating at times.
Is 50 the time when memory start to decline?
Anyone else?
