it depends on the type of fire opening you have. you can get basket fires from B&Q for around �110. This type of fire comes with coals and a brass fret (decorative part at the front) Alternatively you can get radiant fires from plumbers merchants for around �150 (robinson willey fire gem visa) The latter giving out more heat.
