How do you get I.T. work with a charity? I've just finished a A+ seminar and want to more experience. Is it as simple as writing a letter to your fav one?

Yes, it could be that simple. Having been a volunteer at a charity myself for years, we could have done with someone sorting our computers out. Or you could see if you have a volunteering bureau in your town, they have lists of local firms and charities who offer more structured volunteering opportunites. Make sure you are willing to give a reasonably long term commitment though (say 3 - 6 months), to prove that you are not going to waste their time. The difficulty from the Charity's point of view is that they won't want someone who turns up once for a few hours then they never see you again.
