****** off!
Can anyone give me a home remedy of getting rid of (and maintaining a clean carpet) of cat urine. Just had my carpeting cleaned and the odor is still THERE. And/or what can I buy thats out there on the market that will get rid of the odor let alone clean the carpet. Renting, so cannot replace carpeting, besides that would be way too expensive.... HELP!!!! Thanks in advance for your info....

It is excellent and I use it for other things as well. However, you can get the same thing called 'Simple Solution' from most pet supply stores or warehouses for about 5.00.
You will have to wet the offending areas first, then treat with the product and let it dry naturally. It doesn't mask the smell but eliminates it biologically (I'm no scientific expert!) You may need more than one treatment.
Hi
A very clever lady once told me to mix white spirit with water in spray thing (like the household cleaning products come in), spray that on the area, while it smells initially it does eat up the odour, and will stop the car peeing in that area. It wont clean the carpet but really works with the odour.
So I was told that washing powder disolved in water was an ideal solution. Good luck
