As I predicted I am back with just a few queries. ( But, before then, thank you again for your collective support. SWMBO commented on it when I went for my bath that I was in a much better frame)
The first query is " in another case, I might be described as scatterbrained" . I have d?t?y which suggests dotty as scatterbrained but, for the life of, I cannot see why.
The next one is "decorative band are still coming through speakers" . I have ?r?e?e. So " frieze" fits and could mean decorative. I suppose that the reference to speakers means that the answer sounds like something. But, again , I have no idea what,
Advice and help will be very welcome

could be speakers like people, the speaker of the House of commons. looks correct by the way.

MM. OK. I get them but I am a bit underwhelmed. Does " still" mean "freeze"? And the other one is a bit convoluted isn't it?

Oh and there is other explanation I need please. " grimace with mouth, receiving small cheese" Tge answer seems to be "mousetrap" but, again, I am a bit in general dark as to why.

Well, there is a brand new word for me- moue. And I never knew that a cheap cheese was a mousetrap.
And I am glad that you have joined in Mamyalynne. Always so kind and helpful. I needed it yesterday, not just because of the lack of crossword ( but that don't help someone feeling got at!). So thank you. As I said SWMBO noticed the difference.
