You have the upper hand here regards a 2nd hand car Hammer, if you don't get what you want. walk away if they want your money they will run after you, go for everything you can, fuel, RFT, Mats, if the boot is capable, a proper spare wheel not a tin of rubbish, check out the selling sites, if you see something that you fancy check the spec out on-line, if you are not mechanic minded take someone that knows with you, check the History, Service Book, HPI Check, check for recalls, have they been done, if the garage say it's a cracking car make your own judgment & don't be fooled by their patter, a lot of people make the mistake of not checking the cars history don't be one of them. good luck.
