not there anymore, anyone know what i mean and can do about it.

Click on the burger (to the right three short lines) At the bottom of the menu click on "customize" On the left you should see a screen "additional tools and folders" In that screen you should see a search box with a magnifying glass Left click and drag it to where you want it on the toolbar Click the burger to return

don;t know. have bar where its http etc but to the right there should be a google search bar and its gone.

firefox. i did a system restore to 4/12 and its taken out the search bar,

don;t know, sorted out the youtube problems with sound and picture, so did a system restore which fixed that, but that seems to have taken out the search bar

Have you right clicked where it usually is ? You may get a menu with toolbar options.

tried that it doesn't work..
Try the browser settings menu then. Poke around until something promising appears.
Go into settings, right hand side of your screen, select options, a new tab will open, select search then select google as your default search engine.

you may have to "refresh" your browser.

The search bar should then be in it's usual place.
Click on the burger (to the right three short lines)
At the bottom of the menu click on "customize"
On the left you should see a screen "additional tools and folders"
In that screen you should see a search box with a magnifying glass
Left click and drag it to where you want it on the toolbar
Click the burger to return
