This will give you virus protection that you install and run continually on your computer.

If you ever get a virus that AVG won't remove (definitions can only ever be behind the latest viruses!), then you can use an online scanner like Trend's HouseCall

Useful to bookmark, but no substitute for one like AVG that is installed on your machine.
