No sound on tv so nothing to watch that I recorded.
Feeling very p.offed at the moment.

why not buy a crossword book and keep it to hand for emergencies like this? No prizes I suppose but it'll give you something to keep yourself busy.

I hope things have improved for you, Caran.

I'm not having the best of days either. I noticed this afternoon that the oil-filled radiator next to my desk (which provides the main heating in my house)wasn't working. After checking the fuse and the power to the socket I decided that I'd got no alternative other than to buy a new one.

So I set out to Machine Mart to make my purchase. As I was going out of the door I thought "Hang on, I've not checked my email yet today" and nearly sat down at my computer to do so. (I don't 'do' email on mobile devices). However I told myself that getting some heating in the house was far more important, so I went straight out of the door instead.

When I got back from buying the new heater I checked my mail, to find that there was a discount voucher from Machine Mart there which would have saved me eleven quid!

Grrr!
