point and click adventures

Can anyone recommend any decent 'point & click' style adventure/puzzle games for the PC? I was a fan of the Amiga classics such as Lure Of The Temptress, Darkseed and Monkey Island.

The one that jumps to mind is "Sam & Max - Hit The Road" and "Sam & Max - Day Of The Tentacle"

Both however are very old and may not run properly on your PC.

I believe there is a new Sam & Max game coming out sometime but in the meantime you could try a game called "Bone - Out From Boneville" made by the same people. They're not as serious a game as I think you might be looking for, sam and max especially is total madness!!
