Go on google maps and put both routes in, Tiffy. That will give you the mileage of both.

putting both in AA route planner London is 168.2 Cardiff is 172.3.
So close, so where you started in each town could make a big difference.

According to route planner, it's 169.7miles to London and 173miles to Cardiff, measured from High Peak Golf CLub
