Thursday. Cloudy, but not as cold as we were told it would be. It's dry too. wonderful!

My meeting at the council offices went very well. I had my two lovely ladies to talk things over with. They are both on my side and the senior one pays the contractors :o} She is withholding payment to them until they have settled my claim. I love it! I made them laugh and we parted good friends.

The wee men have been told to phone me and be here today to paint the ceiling, replace the broken washbasin and remove the tile adhesive from the floor. I'm still waiting for the phone to ring!

It should all be over today,but I'm not holding my breath!

I've heard all sorts of reasons why 'they' can be unresponsive and some reasons aren't your internet connection.
It's to do with your provider and the amount of traffic that they handle.
Don't know if that's true or not tho.

I'm with EE they seem OK, but confess that the screen drops out when you don't want it to, in the middle of typing some grand e mail or on here, having a chat of sorts.

Emmie, dongle - usb stick for connecting to internet.

A dongle is basically a very little modem with the ability to connect to wireless or mobile broadband, the same as the broadband on your smartphone. When you plug a dongle into a computer, your computer is essentially connected to a modem and can get online without a landline.
