Hi everyone! Back to normal once again after yet another International break - I do hope Mr Southgate got what he needed from those matches, because I didn't get very much at all!

Our last thread is here - http://tinyurl.com/yc6rcthw

Ta to Arky for the current League Table, here - http://tinyurl.com/y7ectvcu

Eight games tomorrow - 1st kick-off @ 12:30 - one game on Sunday & one on Monday, so remember those Captain changes!

Enjoy! :-)

Morning all. Looks like I have run out of breath a bit, and a few knocks to consider before any freshening up. Today looks like a day to keep up with the pace, and hope for a cherry on the cake tomorrow. Have scanned the injury lists and will keep a weather eye on the Sky bulletins. I should be hoping for injuries to Belgian players..........but I will refrain for now. :))

Afternoon - I had one enforced change but have left everyone else in place. I'm hoping for a better showing from my defences this weekend...

They've probably played better than they've ever done for a few weeks
Bobby Robson
Ooo err missus, got Rob's Robbers and Lie Ink breathing down my neck now. :))

"Manchester City feel like they've been hardly done by" - Nigel Pearson.
All you front runners are doing well, my A team (Trident Dribblers) is drifting away a little bit. I've come to the conclusion that all my strikers and midfielder's have had a get together and decided that scoring goals is a myth.

The thing about goalscorers is that they score goals

Hi all! A quick heads-up in case anyone wasn't aware, it's another busy week -

7 matches tomorrow, 1st kick-off 12:30
3 matches Sunday, 1st kick-off 12:00
3 evening matches on Tuesday, 1st kick-off 7:45
7 evening matches on Wednesday, 1st kick-off 7:45

The Captain choices don't look as though they'll be quite so difficult this week, thank goodness.

I only managed 79 & 49 points last weekend so am hoping for much better this week.

I'm a firm believer that if the other side scores first, you have to score twice to win
Howard Wilkinson
Hi Lie In Have already had a look at Captain choices for the 4 sets of fixtures and a quick scan of the injury lists. However I will be keeping the proverbial weather eye out for cancelled matches. What with the weather up here, and the health and safety blob recommendations regarding travel and trains running etc. there may well be postponements. Hope it all goes to plan of course as ever. :((

"It's pouring down and the ref is enjoying his moment in the sun" - Adrian Chiles.
I'm thinking that eventually I should get round to reading the rules ... can you have a different captain for games played on different days?

Thanks ... Lazy-Talbot.
Yes Talbot. You can also transfer in and nominate the player as captain before the day's deadline.
Question Author
Hi Lazy - yes you can. When you click "Captains" above your team, the option to select for the next matches is displayed to the right of the team.

The first (next) day's Captain is marked as "C", those you pick for the following days are marked as "PC" (Pending Captain).

You can change any or all of them up to the Match Day Deadline displayed at the top of the screen - you can't change *during* a day though. If you've picked a Captain for a 12:30 kick-off, you can't then pick another for a 3:00 kick-off on the same day.

Hope that makes sense - if I've got it wrong, one of the experts will be along... :-)
Crikey ... I've been missing out, lol
Question Author
Sorry - 1st Para. should read "...option to select for the following *days*..." - makes a smidge more sense I think.
You seem to have covered it rather well LiK, keeping an eye on the weather is a good point with the Health and safety Guru's out ready to put it on Defcon 1. at the drop of a hat should travelling take a little longer than usual.

Big night all round FFers. Not having the best of months and Rob's Robbers breathing down my neck. Having a spate of yellow and red cards and now 2 injuries. Hmmm better have a study and see whether I can find the magic again.

"Ferdinand has been laid out by Kolarov's unfortunate followthrough" - Jon Champion.
Hiya Togo 'Not having the best of months' and long may it continue ;-)
Quite a tricky few weeks especially with the 'bigger' clubs resting players and some feeling tired already. bless 'em.
Mines a long term game-plan just hope I don't keep drifting too far away.

Well, either side could win it, or it could be a draw.
Big Ron.
Tonight. :))

*Before you post* - a heads-up, I've started our next thread so you might like to post there instead for this weekend's matches -

I've asked for that one to replace this as a sticky thread.
