Emmie's thread had me thinking about sayings for when it's really cold.

I can think of a few, are there any you recall? Interesting how people from different geographical areas describe things.

My only clean one is "cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey".

The expression is Flat as a witches tit , not cold
It can refer to beer or a woman with small boobs.
