Have just found out that's it's just the two of us at home on 25th.
I'm looking for recommendations for board games that work well for two people please.
We have the usual Snakes & Ladders, Ludo, Jenga etc
I have googled but it's nice to hear from 'real peeps'
Just discovered this very exiting new game called "plague your neighbour " Take turns each to insult "Them next door". The winner is the one still standing after the bust-up.
Thank you all for your replies, most helpful.
Unsure where the sausage goes Chill, unless it's wrapped in bacon perhaps!
I have ordered Pass the Pigs (oh, more bacon!) and will go to charity shops in town tomorrow.
You could have a go at a good jigsaw puzzle too. Always plenty in the charity shops, pick an image that appeals to you both and go for 1000 pieces. Just need to clear the dining room table if you dont have a suitable board.
Not a board game, Jake....but for fun you could set a quiz for him...
Our Life Together Quiz......then have ready a list of questions about your life as a couple......dates of special events.....what you wore on a special occasion......what size bra do your wear.......what gift did you give him five birthdays ago......if you're married what time did the ceremony take place......your shoe size times thirteen.....anything silly that you can come up with......:-)
