All this fuss over a permanent memorial to George Michael.... I did love his music, but of all the celebrities who’ve died in the last Year I can honestly say Blue Peter’s John Noakes had the most impact on my life. Statue of John Noakes anyone? Maybe in his native Yorkshire or the Blue Peter Garden if it still exists. With Shep faithfully by his side, of course
