Secret Santa At Work

We exchanged gifts today, and I received a fleecy coat for my little dog! This person clearly knows me so so well!!

Thrilled to bits :-)

Has anyone else participated in Secret Santa with work this year?

I used to work in an office and we did a Secret Santa - I can't remember getting anything really exciting.

But, for my last birthday, my brother sent me a bottle of wine for Cats and a photograph of his neighbour's cat. He must know that I like cats. Can't think how he knows that ☺☺☺

I got.
A large hollow chocolate santa
A round piece of extra mature cheddar with whisky wrapped in that hard wax stuff.
A mug that says for (picture of a fox) sake, they know me really really well, and some of the people on here will know why.

I did, and was delighted with my Tom Kerridge Cook Book. Whoever bought it, knows me well.

With my old colleagues, Anthro.......we had a ten pound limit and I gave a copy of....Five go mad on Brexit Island and a gadget that lights up your toilet bowl....
I received a smelly thing with rods in it to scent the house.....
The large family and friends Secret Santa has a twenty pounds limit....I always buy something quirky and a Treasure Trail challenge of somewhere near where they live....love Secret Santas....x

I always used to refuse and not allow myself to be bullied into it. No desire to shop for a colleague, nor receive something to be recycled.

Yes I gave my friend 2 mini bottles of Prosecco, a pair of bring me wine socks and a champagne flute.
I received A new make up bag with comments about gin on it, a book about gin and 2 mini gins!!
We have worked together for 10 years so we all know each other very well.

Yes I did and got a very nice box of various shower and body goodies and last year got a bottle of gin :-) Problem is we all agreed on £5 but many went over, me and mine included but some didn't, two people got just a cheap mug.

This brings back memories of when one Xmas I got black scanty underwear from a male colleague. I was a little shocked. As at the time I was over 55 and this is a young lad then he explained he got his Sharons mixed up!!!

We did ours 2 weeks ago and I got a mug that said 'Oh Dear'!

The person I bought for got a box of Christmassy Yankee candles.

I handed my secret Santa present in last weekend. It was a gift box filled with candles, bath bombs, sleep-mask, make up bag etc. The recipient is very girly so hope she likes it.

I haven't received mine yet, however what worries me is that a member of our staff left last week, just my luck to have had him as mine and i get naff all :-(

Ours is happening tomorrow and I got my recipient a mug and key ring featuring the photo he has on his desk of his two children, I do hope he likes them.
