Some ahole has pinched one of the rear reflectors from the bumper of my car. Now, they're cheap enough to replace, but I was wondering how you work out if you need left or right.
As I'm looking at the back of the car, it's the left hand reflector, so is that what I order? Or, are you supposed to look from the front and order a right hand one?
"Are they not both the same?"
My first thought to this was 'no' as the reflector curves into the bumper, but looking at the other side, it looks like you would just need to rotate it to fit. The only problem to this is that the fitting holes are a different size, so not sure that it would work.
"Ebay and amazon only ask for left or right, not near/offside."
Maybe better trying a local motor factor or somebody like Euro Car Parts.
At least then you're sure they know what you're asking for even if it costs 15p more.
I did look on the Europarts website. They're £13.99 each as opposed to £5.99 each. I don't mind paying the extra but wanted to get it ordered. Begs the question, if they're that cheap, why you'd risk getting caught pinching them!
