I doubt it unless the US halts its invasion games around North Korea.... then who owns the 'negotiating table' and where that table is would be crucial.

They are not "geography police". They are simply pointing out to a "young educated female" (as you described yourself yesterday) that North Korea is not an island. It forms the northern part of the Korean peninsula and its northern land border is principally with China whilst a small part of the eastern end borders Russia.
