To change hospital appointments on-line like you can with GP appointments? I signed up at my GP's surgery for on line access to appointments etc and wondered if you can do the same with hospitals.

...not with the hospitals that I've been dealing with lately....but it may depend on the hospital/health authority.
Not in my health authority. All changes are conducted by telephone.
Thinking about it a little more...wouldn't it be almost impossible? There are so many different reasons for which you could have an appointment...different specialities (and different specialists within them) and different "tests", scans etc.....where would you start?

Well you would have to be registered and have a password. Then you would go on the website, click on appointments and choose the one you want, then a list of available appointments would come up and you could choose one, then change your original one. This is how I imagine the outpatient contact centre would do it when you phone them and this is how it works with the GP appointments, but I don't know if it's possible to register to do this with hospital appointments.
